Our facial rejuvenation center offers a variety of products and services that, as the name rejuvenation indicates, can return the facial tissues toward their prior better appearance.  Many of these treatments are non-surgical and can be performed in the comfort of your own home or in the beautiful, new Endless Youth Facial Cosmetic Center by our Registered Nurse and skin care specialist, Jamie Reese.

Wrinkles or skin lines

Lines or wrinkles can be due to different causes, and therefore, there are general guidelines as to the preferred treatment.   

Frown lines in the forehead and between the eyes, as well as "crow's feet "at the sides of the eyes are due to excessive muscle action.  These lines are ideal to be treated with Botox to relax these muscles and soften these areas, eliminating an angry or tired appearance.  Sometimes these lines are present without any muscle movement.  These lines can be filled with products such as collagen, Restylane, or Radiesse. 

Superficial treatments as with microdermabrasion will remove some or all of the epidermis, or outer layer of the skin, creating a freshened appearance by making the skin smoother and softer, with no down time for healing.

Fine lines and wrinkles are also benefited by chemical peels, such as the Obagi Blue Peel, which penetrates into the dermal layer of the skin, stimulating new collagen growth and producing a tightening of the skin while exfoliating the skin, improving fine lines, and removing age spots.  Deeper and more dramatic results can be obtained by the Erbium or the carbon dioxide laser, which penetrate deeper into the dermis and offer maximum tightening and wrinkle reduction.  

Sun damage to the skin causes:

• Age spots
• Wrinkles and lines
• Irregular or excessive pigment blotches
• Premalignant and even malignant skin cancers

These age and sun related changes, as well as acne, can be effectively treated with the Obagi Nu-Derm facial rejuvenation system, a series of skin care products that can be used in the comfort of your own home.  This system utilizes Cleansers, Toners, Hydroquinone (to even and smooth the pigment), alpha hydroxy acids (to decrease the dead cell layer in the skin), Retin-A to normalize the skin, and sunblocks.
